THE ERACING ASSOCIATION OMEGA CUP

Welcome to our premier series in the eRacing Association, the Omega Cup. This will be our 1st Omega Cup event of 2024 and it will be a tournament-style event utilizing Class A GEN 7 Cup Cars at Daytona International Speedway. Our events throughout the year are user vs. user Short Track, Speedway, Super Speedway, and Road Course racing where ERA members will battle it out on track for the prize pool of $5,000 and their name immortalized in the league! All of the online trash-talking and bashing ends here; the Omega Cup is where you can take your place as one of the most feared racers in the sim-racing world. Reputations will be tested, egos will be burned, friendships will be made, and rivalries will begin! Who will be crowned the next winner in the Omega Cup?

RACE LENGTH 60

Cars: Class A GEN 7 cup car
Broadcast Professionally Streamed on YouTube, Facebook, Twitch
REGISTRATION: All drivers who don’t have memberships already must sign up as ERA members to compete. All current ERA members AND newly signed up members MUST get on our eRacing Association Discord and let us know you are competing in the event so we have accurate numbers. Registration must be completed at ERAGaming.gg.

RACE DATE/TIME:

MONDAY (Practice + Qualifying + Heat Races)

6:00pm Practice

7:00pm Qualifying

7:08pm Heat Races

20 laps, CAUTION LAPS WILL NOT COUNT, Top 50 finishers make it to Day #2.

ERA Members will be separated into randomized heat race sessions

WEDNESDAY (Practice + Qualifying + Main Event Races)

6:00pm Practice

7:00pm Qualifying (Top
40 make the Mains) 2 Lap Single car qualifying session. Top 40 drivers make the race. This will set the starting grid.

7:08pm Main Event races Feature Race will be 60 laps with all with manual cautions and 1 reset. There will be only 3 attempts at a Green/White/Checker finish.

Remember, this is a streamed race. Let’s give the fans the thrill of seeing you all competing on the track during this time. No one wants to see 100 laps of caution. Please keep that in mind when you are racing. With that said, the main event will have manual cautions so it will be on the race administrator as to whether he pulls the caution or lets it go green. Also it will be at the discretion of the Race Admin on when to have single file or double file restarts based on incidents occurring in race.
